Feast Day: 19th DecemberSt Nicholas is shown in the traditional manner with a high forehead and spade beard, with a decorated halo. He is depicted in a red saccos and stole decorated with crosses, denoting his rank as a bishop. He raises his right hand in a gesture of blessing and in his left, he holds a closed Gospel with a jewelled cover.
